Andrea Ullom, BS, RMTI Nurturing Therapeutic Massage

After graduating from Scherer Institute in 1999, Andrea assisted in the Nurturing, Therapeutic Massage and Connective Tissue Bodywork classes and now brings that experience to teaching the Nurturing, Therapeutic Massage. She started teaching the NTM class in 2003. She graduated from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island in 1992 with a B.A. in Secondary Education. Andrea came to massage school after teaching in public schools and becoming disheartened by the demonization of touch in that structure. She works in a small practice with an acupuncturist in Espanola, New Mexico. She enjoys the professional relationships she has created with her clients while working with them over the past 10 years. Her current continuing education interests are homeopathy and how trauma settles in the body. In her recreation time, you can find her snowboarding, running with her dogs and fishing with her husband and two young sons.
